In the process of EU integration, local governments aligned with EU legislation and practices will contribute to the acceleration of local and regional developments.

Under the influence of globalization and other political evidence, both non-governmental organizations and local governments have undeniable roles in national and regional development. On the other hand it is clear that Turkey should give importance to these concepts in EU integration process. In this context, "Local Governments" program forms the technical and academic infrastructure of the issue.

In their internship, students will work in local governments and civil society organizations during 40 days period and create "Research Project" in the current professional issues.
